We are thrilled to share some fantastic news with you all!
Thanks to the confidence and support shown by the West Torrens City Council and the State Government in allowing us to move forward independently, we are excited and proud to announce the upcoming redevelopment of our facilities at the Lockleys Bowling Club.
The redevelopment will deliver a modern, welcoming space for our members and the wider community, including relaxed, covered outdoor areas where families and friends can gather, connect and enjoy the action on the greens all year round.
With the WTCC investing an impressive $7 million and the State Government contributing a further $2.5 million, we are now in a position to move forward with a significant redevelopment project that promises to transform our club into a state-of-the-art facility.
Under planning consideration, we have a range of exciting features in store:
• a fully enclosed 8 rink indoor bowling facility
• upgraded clubrooms
• fully functional sports bar with TV screens
• an enhanced commercial kitchen
• upgraded amenities for both men and women
• streamlined spaces for events and functions
• under cover outdoor seating areas
• upgraded outdoor greens lighting
Additionally, we will be increasing landscape surrounds to create a welcoming and vibrant environment for all.
