OUR GREENS
LBC boasts four international standard Tiff Dwarf greens each comprising seven rinks which can cater for up to 220 players at any one time. Currently our 4th Green is not in use.
The club’s professional greenkeeper, James Gregory, is a well-known identity both within South Australia and beyond. In addition to his commitments at Lockleys, James also works with other clubs who strive to attain the quality of the playing surface that Lockleys presents.
All greens are floodlit and available for night-time use and electronic scoreboards service all rinks. Green speeds consistently run at 14 – 15 seconds.
Greens are closed on Mondays to enable the maintenance to occur that is required to keep them operating at peak performance.
